"i don't think anyone is thinking long-term now." - Thomas Mann
A man buys a rare watch in the market and has the watch checked by a non-authorized repair center for the watch. (probably to save cost)
Result: FUBAR watch.
Man then finally comes to his senses and decides to bring the watch to the authorized repair center. The watch requires fixing of the whole thing... for a rare watch, that would be very difficult. Think of shipping costs, labor costs etc. not to mention, very very... expensive.
When you get a good watch, do expect to spend on it for maintaining it... don't make tipid and wait for it to go FUBAR.... especially when it is a rare one.
Lesson learned: think long term. :)
